			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Shaw Carpet Mills have announced a price increase on new orders received on October 3, 2009. I think the timing is bad. We have seen overall stability in sales for the year as the economy strengthens and consumers show signs of regaining confidence. We at American Carpet Wholesalers will do everything possible to absorb some the increase but will have no choice on passing some of the carpet price increase along. The announced increase will be in the range of 5-8%.</p>
